A Kids’ Art in the Park is held yearly at Monroeville Municipal Park, Pavilion #5, — for children of all ages on a Saturday from 9:45 to 3:00. Support is received from Monroeville Recreation and Parks for this event which offers a wide variety of unique creative and enjoyable activities for children.
MAC, in partnership with Biondi Lincoln Motors, offers matching scholarship funding to two qualifying Gateway seniors who major in the arts. Each spring, at the Gateway Awards Ceremony, those students are awarded grants which they then apply to their higher education courses.
A Holiday Craft Workshop is held at the Monoeville Public Library during rhe holiday season. Year Round Craft Activities and Projects for intergenerational participants are offered in an enjoyable and festive setting.
Projects have included gift bags and tags, floral wreaths, holiday wreaths, jewelry, bath bombs, with creative gifts and holiday enjoyment for all ages!
A series of art workshops have been offered with award winning local artists in the Program Room of Monroeville Public Library. These offerings are provided at no charge for instruction. A $10 materials charge will be collected on the day of the event for non-members of MAC.

With the financial support of Biondi Motors and Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Monroeville Arts Council presents art and musical opportunities for the students at Sunrise School in Monroeville. Musicians are being booked for another series of engaging musical experiences for the children of Sunrise.
